February is American Heart Month – a good reminder that the most important asset at Condor isn’t equipment, reports, or deadlines. It’s our people.
Our work can be physically demanding, fast-paced, and deadline-driven. Whether you’re in the field, in the office, or supporting projects behind the scenes, taking care of your health is what allows us to consistently deliver at a high level.
Heart health isn’t just about long-term wellness – it’s about daily habits that sustain performance.
- Getting enough sleep
- Staying hydrated (yes, even in the cold)
- Managing stress during busy seasons
- Moving regularly – even short walks count!
- Scheduling annual physicals and preventative care **Employees eligible for Medical Insurance may enroll on their first day of employment and participate in the Company’s Wellness Rewards Program. Employees who complete their annual wellness visit with a healthcare provider will receive a $50 gift card of their choice. This reward is available once per year; contact Human Resources to claim it.
We often talk about safety on job sites in the vehicles. February is a reminder that long-term health is part of that same commitment. Looking out for yourself -and each other- matters.
This week, consider one small action:
- Take a 20-minute walk during lunch
- Schedule a check-up that you’ve been putting off
- Check in with a teammate who’s been carrying a heavy workload
Healthy teams aren’t accidental. They’re intentional. And when we take care of ourselves, we strengthen everything we do.
